What began as a love for photography grew into a vision to create something of his own—a business where creativity, connection, and community could come together.
Marquis believes photography is about more than simply taking a picture. It’s about capturing the feeling of a moment, the personality of a person, and the details that might otherwise be forgotten.
As the founder of Hemingway Visuals, Marquis brings a personal approach to every session and project. He takes the time to understand the people he photographs and the stories they want to tell, creating images that feel natural, intentional, and uniquely theirs.
Growing up and building his career in the Horry County area, giving back to the community is also an important part of his vision for Hemingway Visuals. Through the business, Marquis hopes to not only create meaningful work but also make a meaningful difference in the community that helped shape him.
